The LG KG920 is the first phone photo 5 megapixels which we pass through the hands. This passage has unfortunately been relatively Stealth (2 days Week End) but it was enough to take a first hand and to offer his photographs in the Face to Face.The shooting and recording photos are very slow. It’s really a disincentive to use. On the other hand your photos are almost always unclear if you do not use the flash which shortens the time to pause without much change the colors captured. If you do not use the flash, the best way to recover still sharp pictures is to use the self-timer to avoid moving during the shooting. It set aside it must be said that the KG920 is the camera phone photo that we made the best pictures so far. To tell you the quality of photos is even greater than that of a Konica Minolta Dimage X50 (a device released two years ago). The video mode is also better than previously tested phones. Linking his phone to the computer to transfer music is a bad choice. Too long! It takes more than 3 minutes to copy an album of 11 tracks. To expedite the movement, we recommend that you use a memory card reader. The acceleration is significant. This time, the same process takes less than 10 seconds. Little detail, we should not copy the directories of music but the songs directly if the device does not recognize them. There is an external speaker but even the manufacturer’s instructions recommends using the helmet, we will go in his direction. He provided is interchangeable and quite satisfactory to our ears. We replaced for comparison with our Sennheiser MX550, major differences noted were better held in the ears (there was no foam on the earphones of LG), bass slightly better made and a more enveloping. The volume max is also stronger with the Sennheiser.
Upshot: a photo phone is the best … but there is still some way to go before such devices would kill the compact. Too big (see box right), too slow, too vague on the topic moved … Nevertheless, it appreciates able to draw some of our photos in A4 format, without having to be ashamed of their quality. Definitely, we are going in the right direction! It would have 5 stars if we should take into account the quality of its shots. But its shortcomings slow and ergonomics are dropped his note to 4.
